Director and Senior Project Manager
Arron has worked in the aquatic landscaping industry since the age of 16. He gained his degree in aquaculture and fisheries management.
After many years of experience Arron decided the time had come for him to set up on his own as he wanted to be able to offer a more personal approach to his work and also make sure the standard of work was exemplary. With this ethos in mind AB Aquatics has gone from strength to strength, taking on a wide range of projects. From garden ponds to natural swimming pools. Arron has a passion for the work he does and particularly enjoys the different challenges he faces when recreating people's ideas and sometimes 'out there' dream water features!

Herbicides and Plant Management
Kevin Ackerman was born and raised in the Dorset countryside, and from an early age had a fascination with the natural world.
In 1998 Kevin graduated from the Seale Hayne Faculty of Plymouth University with a BSc in Rural Resource Management. He then returned to settle in Dorset with his partner Nicola (BSc Food Quality from Seale Hayne)and immediately began working for one of the country’s leading aquatic consultancies, soon becoming their Environmental Manager. During this time he managed waters all over the country and worked on gaining ISO 9001 and 14001. In 2000 Kevin became a Member of the BASIS Professional Register allowing him to advise and consult on the management of aquatic and invasive plants, and the use of herbicides in or near water. This led him to become a BASIS trainer to the Environment Agency at national level in 2010. 2013 was a year of change and Kevin went freelance, still contracting his training skills to his old employer, but also allowing him to take on clients of his own. He and his partner Nic now run their own consultancy, Food & Environmental Ltd, and are extremely pleased to be associated with Arron and AB Aquatics.
